- We do not use Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) or Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES) in our formulations. We use natural or naturally derived surfactants such as sodium lauroyl sarcosinate (coconut derived), glucosides, or oats protein.

- We do not use parabens or triclosans as preservatives in our products and opt for natural, food-grade or safe to use alternatives that are widely accepted in the industry, ensuring our products are safe from microbial growth while still being gentle on hair and scalp.

- We deliberately excluded silicones from our formula and instead choose to harness the power of natural or organic oils, like Argan, to gently nourish and protect the hair shaft. We do not use salt in our formula, as it can lead to brittle hair, and instead use alternative thickeners to achieve the perfect consistency and quality.

- Many brands make hair cleansers are made with lye, such as Potassium Hydroxide, have a high pH level and can strip the scalp of its natural oils, leading to dryness and irritation. This is because they are essentially liquid soap and not shampoo. In contrast, our shampoos avoid harsh soaps and instead use gentle, naturally derived surfactants that maintain a pH level that's gentle on the scalp, promoting a healthy and balanced environment for hair growth.

- No artificial colours or synthetic perfumes are added to our shampoo, maintaining its natural and purity content. Instead of perfume we use essential oils that are naturally sourced and organic in nature, and lend aromatherapy to the experience, all the while promoting hair and scalp health.
